Great service and great food! Soup was so tasty and reasonable price. Service was fast and the place clean. Definitely coming back.
This place is soooo good! My friend chose this place to eat for her birthday. She said it was her favorite hot pot place in vegas. I've always stuck to the ayce hot pot places because of the wide selections however if you don't want ayce definitely try this place. The broth is very flavorful and creamy, prob my favorite broth flavor for hot pot in vegas. I chose the beef flavor. I like that you put the meat and veggies in yourself and pick how much you want and what you want to put in your pot. The dipping sauce you make yourself and I really enjoyed putting it all together. The service was friendly. The place is clean. Highly recommend
I like the section to make sauces. I was enjoying the mala. Many options of drinks. It was clean.
This place is more like build your own ramin than a hot pot. When I think of hot pot. It's a boiling pot of Broth on a table where you put meat, noodles, and vegetables in. Well, this place you get a bowl and put your choice of noodles, protein, and vegetables. They change you $15.99 per pound with a minimum of 1 pound. You choose your broth and they will bring it out to you when it's done. Service was quick and fast. Ambiance is up to date restaurant design. Pros: You get to pick what goes in your bowl. If you're hungry or not. If you want a lot of vegetables, protein or noodles. You pay what you get. Con: Mild soup is more like medium spicy. So pick wisely. You can go over board on ingredients and you will pay for it at the end when the bill comes at the end. Would I go back? Yes. Got to watch what I put in my bowl.
This hot pot restaurant offers a diverse selection of broths and a wide range of fresh ingredients, from tender meats to crisp vegetables, all perfect for cooking in your own pot. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff. The interior is simple yet inviting, creating a relaxed dining environment. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food. They asked me to fill to the pound, so it's rounded up to 15.99/lbs. It's a must-visit spot for hot pot lovers in Vegas. I defo will come back. 5/5!
The soup base is the main reason I'm giving this 5 stars! Few things to know: 1. You pay per pound (min 1 lb at $15.99/lb) 2. 3.5% credit card fee As soon as you enter, you can grab a medium or large bowl + tongs to pick your items for the soup. The server then weighs it to make sure it meets the minimum of one pound. Then you pick a soup base (I chose the most popular one, mild beef broth) and the server seats you while the chefs cooks it in the broth. The beef broth was amazing. I love the mild mala taste, however, I would say the mild was a bit more spicy than I expected. I personally like it, but if someone couldn't handle spice, this would be too much. What I like about this place is that you know exactly what is in the bowl since you choose it yourself. Other places put a lot of other junk I don't eat. There's a dipping sauce station at the front of the restaurant as well. Parking: Parking lot I'm not a fan that their credit card minimum is $25 for no transaction fee. They should just offer a small discount for paying in cash, but overall, I'm glad I tried this place and would recommend to others.
I've developed quite an addiction to The Best Hot Pot, primarily because their broth is simply irresistible. My go-to is the beef broth, which never disappoints. The option to customize my hot pot with a variety of selections is another highlight, allowing for a personalized dining experience. However, a couple of drawbacks are worth noting: they don't accept AMEX, and there's a minimum spend requirement of $25 for credit card payments, lest you incur an additional fee. Additionally, it's essential to mention their policy against bringing outside drinks. On the upside, their service is consistently speedy and efficient. The ambiance leans towards a casual vibe, making it a go-to spot for solo dining occasions. Despite the minor inconveniences, The Best Hot Pot remains a top choice for its flavorful broths and quick service.
Technically this is a malatang place not a hot pot place but I understand most non Chinese can't tell the difference. Hotspot is here you cook for yourself whereas malatang they cook for you after you pick your meat/veggies. This is decent as the bone soup is delicious so I'd recommend getting it mild spicy even if you can take higher level of spiciness because I'd recommend you savor the soup afterwards. Other than that service is simple but good and the selection of meat and veggies are good enough. Comparing to the ones in the malatang places in the Bay Area the closest one is YGF malatang. Tang bar has more selections of stuff to choose from but the soup base is not as good. The place itself is in the smaller plaza next to the 99 Ranch plaza and it's not big so I don't recommend a larger party. Overall I think it's a good malatang addition for Vegas.
Build your own bowl of hotpot for $15.99 per pound. All the toppings are the same price. There's a variety of veggies, noodles, fish balls, seafood, tofu skins, etc. There was beef and lamb for meat options, but the beef wasn't too great - just a bit tough. As for broth choices, they have a beef broth, pork broth, and tomato. You can have either of them mild, medium, or spicy. The employee said the beef broth was the most popular. We got medium spicy and it wasn't too hot. If you like spicier foods, I'd try the spicy!
